What is Quality Camping?

For a successful stay in outdoor hotels, you need to choose a qualified establishment. While the number of stars generally classifies a campsite, it does not necessarily attest to its quality. This is why the most qualified campsites are distinguished by the Camping Quality Label.

The Label Camping Quality is the charte that characterizes outdoor hotels combining comfort and quality in terms of setting and services. It informs holidaymakers about the level of comfort and standing of the campsite of their choice. These establishments are committed to respect the expectations and requirements of customers on the quality of services and amenities.

A camping labeled Camping Qualité must respect strict and precise commitments based on nearly 600 criteria. Overall, it offers a warm welcome to holidaymakers, must be impeccably clean, provide all the information essential to customers. It must also offer well-kept private sites while enhancing and respecting the environment.

This charter is the only official national recognition in France. There are currently more than 300 campsites recognized Camping de Qualité.

To adhere to this charter and thus become camping qualité, you can send a request to the association Camping Qualité. The latter will carry out an audit to see if we meet the 600 or so criteria required.
